The basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where you are, what you’re doing, and what you’re directly experiencing via your senses is all yours.

It’s called mindfulness. You naturally possess it and if you practice it regularly, you have it readily available whenever you need to calm down.

Do it for more than 8 weeks and you’ll even be able to remodel the physical structure of your brain.

Here And Now

Besides the guided sessions on the Earkick AI Therapy Chatbot app that help you focus on the present, relax your body and calm your mind, there are other ways to train mindfulness:

Commuting, waiting in line, walking from work to lunch or brushing your teeth are great opportunities to settle in the here and now without losing time.

Observe what you see, hear, touch, smell, or taste, and accept the thoughts that cross your mind without judging them. You’ll discover that you can even make

time slow down.
